Creatures of Habitat Studio

We collaborate with Scott Brownrigg to deliver world class solutions to complex challenges.
Vision Statement
Our purpose is to make and help create timeless, sustainable and beautiful environments that are aspirational to our clients and communities. To achieve this we must remain agile and retain the ability to adapt to change whilst maintaining a rigour that keeps design excellence as our essence.
Our holistic and committed approach to high quality design, delivered with integrity and pragmatism to exceed clients’ expectations, is backed up with key areas of expertise and an exceptional history. Through this we can demonstrate a passion and commitment to our clients, society and the environment.
We are an international practice. Our strategy for overseas expansion is driven from our UK heart and is supported by, and promoted, from our existing international offices, whilst we continue to seek new opportunities and new markets. We aim to participate in significant projects across the globe and in all of its’ leading cities.
We have a desire to be considered to be one of the best, not necessarily one of the biggest, and we have a design studio ethos that enables collaboration and participation with our clients, staff and consultants that promotes analytical and critical thinking as well as the advancement of talent. We want to win work on the strength and quality of our practice and projects, as well as the merit of our design and knowledge.
-
We want to make the built environment better than we found it – architecturally, socially and morally.
-
We try to create an emotional response to all our projects – passion, relevance and appropriateness.
-
We want to be at the vanguard of research, technology and sustainability to enable us to future proof our projects, on behalf of our clients and the general populace alike.
-
We believe that the whole of our practice is significantly greater than the sum of the individual parts, and to this extent we are by implication, not reliant on the individual but the collective competence of many. Yet this is still enforced with personal and professional commitment to the individuals and organisations to whom we serve. We turn vision into action – and underpin action with vision
